“RADICAL CALL FOR LOVE”

This platform here is about physical & mental health practices, about movement, breath work & meditation, but if I could some up my goal of all this it would be this mantra written on my forever favorite yoga outfit by Marine Serre.

I thought a long time about how to introduce my kind of practice & my offer & previously had a beautiful sounding motivational yogic sort of speech here, but decided ultimately to replace it with a very matter of fact description of what this is about.

»A little bit goes a long way » - I am not your perfect coach. I am just a human being, a woman in her 40s, mother, working mum & partner. On this platform I share my own physical and mental practice and maybe it can suit you, too?

MY STYLE: I am still looking for the right title for my style. It is very eclectic and cannot be summed up by one style. I am trained in Hatha/Vinyasa & Kundalini yoga, but practice sinceover 10 years my very OWN movement practice. On the one hand it can seem not Yoga anymore (I incorporate elements from Pilates, asian movement & breathing techniques, functional movement, some fitness etc;), but at the same time I consider myself deeply in the spiritual aspect of Yoga & I am not just practicing fitness…

Let me be the facilitator & spaceholder for your ongoing ritual of connecting body, mind & soul.

Hi, I’m Maria

I am a free, non-dogmatic movement, breathwork & meditation teacher (coming from the world of YOGA) and want to take you along my own practice on this platform (suited for all genders, all ages & all levels of practices).

I offer an intuitive, somatic kind of practice that combines both a toning, strong physical practice that I alternate with more gentle, soothing sessions with breathwork & meditation for a deep experience of EMBODIMENT - out of the thinking mind into the body.

For me it’s about truly feeling our body & loving it & moving it to metabolize stuck emotions.

To ultimately feel more free, to be able to love more in a way. Or to simply make it through our days, weeks and months, LOL - as all is a LOT.

I like to stay fit (yes, in our 40s our bodies change radically and I want to keep on feeling good and love my body) – I am not a sportsfreak, so this is my practice (combined with walking and other outdoor movement), but mostly this is it.

And then I love to, and NEED to balance my nervous system & keep it resilient, with both activating & soothing breathwork. And yes, after physical workout & breathwork I love to go into meditation. Once my body moved & I got all stuck emotions out, I feel free enough to go drift.

And then I also like to practice attuned to nature, the current season, the actual energy around. That’s why I propose an ongoing practice. For each month I offer a combination of videos for you to practice home whenever it suits you. (more about my offerings & membership club below)

I love to explore how real people actually integrate meditation into their lives & what kind of physical and mental routine (or not-routine) they practice to stay centered.

Happy May full moon in Sagittarius!

Full & new moons invite us to pause — not to turn away from collective pain or injustice, but to reconnect with our inner stability in the midst of it.
In times that feel heavy or uncertain, a conscious pause allows us to notice what we’re carrying in our bodies, release accumulated stress, and respond rather than react.

Every new & full moon my dear friend Saskia Diez offers us a “Tarot reading ”
as a way of giving us an impulse to heighten our intuition rather than using our analytic mind for either of these key moments in the moon cycle.

After the new moon in Taurus which was an invitation to remain grounded and internally coherent while everything intensifies, & to trust that with time, what is truly aligned and real will naturally reveal itself, this very special second full moon of this month of May in the sign of Sagittarius invites softness, perspective, and joy. While the first full moon on May 1st in Scorpio asked us to move through depth, release, and what felt heavy, this one is a reminder that after intensity comes spaciousness — and that clarity can arrive not only through looking closely, but also through lifting our gaze and letting in a little more light.

Tarot, like meditation, gently interrupts the thinking mind by shifting us from analysis into intuition — creating a quiet space where insight arises through images, feeling, and presence rather than constant thought.

“To me, Tarot can be a gentle way out of the monkey mind - an invitation to pause, shift perspective, and receive subtle impulses and guidance by looking at things from a different angle.” - Saskia Diez

Upcoming Retreats

  • "Maria is a teacher who emanates compassion and joy! Practicing with her is to be invited to come home to your body with curiosity and kindness. You get the distinct feeling she is walking the path alongside you - she is war, human & relatable."

    — Gabriella Campagna

  • "Maria is my ride or die when it comes to Yoga. I don't want anyone else in my life. She mixes swag with reference and her sessions are just pure art."

    — Lucie McCullough

  • "Practicing with Maria is so much more than Yoga. It is deep nourishment on a cellular level. It is a practice for the body and the heart, the mind and the soul. After each class I feel more motivated, more balanced and energized, better than any therapy session."

    — Jessica Einaudi

  • "The retreat in the mountains with Maria and Larissa was magic, it marked me profoundly. Since then there was really a "before the retreat" and then the "after the retreat".

    — Eleonora

  • "When I think of practicing with Maria, what comes to mind first is that it is joyful, energizing and inspiring. I especially appreciate how she offers and accessible, down-to-earth entry into meditation, breath work and related practices. With her, it's not something closed-off or mysterious that feels only reachable after five years in a monastery. Her authenticity - including her openness about her own struggles make the practice deeply relatable. And the fact that she doesn't put herself on a pedestal or try to be your next guru is something I find truly relieving, sympathetic and above all, very important

    — Saskia Diez

  • "Maria’s teaching style can’t be easily categorized because she lets her intuition guide the class, ensuring that every class is different, yet somehow so appropriate for that particular moment in time. Beyond that, through movement and breath work, Maria’s classes offer nourishing human connection."

    — Despina Andronikidis

  • "Maria has a gift for sensing what each class needs, making every session unique, fun, and perfectly balanced in energy."

    — Sal Henderson
